​At Degrees of Opportunity, we are dedicated to recognising the achievements of young people and encouraging their journey forward, using the skills, interests and personal qualities they have developed through their engagement in differing activities, programs, life skills, and projects.

Dealing with the challenges of today requires problem-solvers who bring different perspectives and are willing to take risks. Degrees of Opportunity emerged out of a pursuit to inspire and support the community, and a desire for actions to speak louder than words. Established in 2000, we’re an organization driven by progressive ideas, bold actions, and a strong foundation of support.

Degrees of Opportunity will not be a new youth services provider competing with others, but a collaborative scheme for working together, reaching out to young people, providing more opportunities, better rewarding and celebrating achievement by young people, and for providing them with a pathway to further develop their skills and leadership beyond the programmes that they are engaging in.

• Provide opportunities for engaging young people further and for further developing their skills.
